Peter Regala, MD

Peter Regala, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon at Restoration Orthopedics in Naples, Florida, where he specializes in advanced techniques for treating complex sports injuries and restoring musculoskeletal function.

He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, Huntington Hospital, where he earned recognition as Senior Resident of the Year and received the Outstanding Resident Research Paper Award from the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics.

Dr. Regala earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in Spanish and a minor in Zoology. His research has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on orthopaedic trauma, joint reconstruction, and sports-related injuries. He has presented nationally at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and other leading conferences.

Passionate about advancing patient care, Dr. Regala has served as a sideline physician for high school, collegiate, and academy-level athletes and has volunteered on international surgical missions.
